Adult ADHD NI has been set up to support adults with ADHD in Northern Ireland. The motivation for starting the organization came from identifying the lack of services for ADHD adults in Northern Ireland. Our purpose is to create awareness of ADHD in adulthood, and to advance the education of professionals/public at a local and national level to ensure that all adults with ADHD regardless of age, health, ethnicity, socio-economic status or religion have fair and equitable access to health, social, employment, and other services needed. We Provide Support groups. The purpose of a group is to provide information and support to Adults affected by ADHD (this includes parents of children with ADHD). Thus enabling them to enhance their lives and reach their full potential. We provide one to one support which is an effective approach to dealing with issues that arise with ADHD adults and support individuals to manage their condition more effectively. We provide Information Sessions to relevant agencies such as schools and colleges creating awareness and offering guidance on the challenges of ADHD. We have already supported many adults affected by

"Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules, and they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them; disagree with them; glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do."
~ Steve Jobs, inspired by Jack Kerouac
